We are from Texas & never had clam belly before & OMG they were delicious with the perfect balance of light breading. We had the seafood casserole & lemon caper Haddock which were superb! Definitely try one of the infused Hard Seltzer’s! Not to sweet which many are. You can’t go wrong dining at Jake’s Seafood & Grill!! ”

“ My husband and I stopped in for lunch today, it was fantastic! We opted to sit at the bar. The bartender and staff were so friendly and efficient. We had the seafood combo, it was so good! “ I feel terrible doing this, but this is the second time we have been not happy and that is unusual for Jake’sWell, usually we get great service, but we got a new waitress and sat there for 15 minutes Without any contact, not even, I’ll be with you in a minute there was four of us and We met my husband‘s two brothers so he had three slips( bills) And when we got home, my husband looked at his bank account and we had been charged twice once with the tip and once without The tip and this is the second time the same accident has happened and it was for over 100. because we both had a cocktail or two I got the fisherman platter, which was awesome as usual other than the clams. The bellies had no batter on them at all and appear to be undercooked. I didn’t need any of them. My husband got baked haddock that he said was delicious as Usual one of my brother-in-law‘s got the same thing and he was completely satisfied also, and then my other brother-in-law got salmon that he said was amazing. So, other Then the clams everything was great and I my dad that drinks are over the top good!!! But I’m going to call them and get this straight and I will let you know what happens last time. There was no problem whatsoever. It took a few days but it did happen. Stay tuned. ”

“ Yummy Seafood! Great Service Classic New England seafood in a comfortable setting. However, the best part was the friendly and attentive service. Ambiance: Interesting layout with several dining areas, including a back "porch" with screens providing a great breeze overlooking a lovely wooded area The decorations are rustic and fun. Plenty of tables. Clean and comfortable Food: YUMMM! My husband got the Seafood casserole and clam chowder. He gave the chowder thumbs up which is high marks indeed (he is a total chowder connoisseur). He was even more delighted with the huge seafood casserole chock full of fresh yummy seafood and just enough butter and cracker crumbs. I ordered the fried fish and scallop combo. When it was delivered, there were no scallops, but the waitress fixed that quickly. The fish was REALLY good, but the scallops were even better! Steaming hot, perfectly cooked, fish was flakey with a mild flavor and the scallops were sweet and firm. Served with a baked potato (yum) and onion rings. The onion rings had a great flavor BUT (one area for improvement) they were not really hot. But 'cause they were so flavorful and perfectly crunchy, I munched them anyway! LOL Service: Gretchen was our helpful server. She was patient with our questions and helpful with our selections and delightfully pleasant! And she had help -- different servers came by to check on things, drop things off, etc. It was teamwork in action. All pleasant, and just added to a great experience! Bottom line: GO! You will be happy you did. ”

“ Can't say enough good things about Jake's! We were in the area shopping for furniture and decided on seafood for lunch. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We weren't sure what to order and took the recommendation of our server. It was a seafood combo dinner and it was fantastic. The great thing was it was served with both onion rings AND french fries. We didn't have to choose and both were the perfect complement to our meal. Portions were generous and we took home enough food for another meal. Loved Jake's and we're definitely coming back! ”
